* BMS Successfully Hosts BRICS TUF Summit 2026; Hyderabad Declaration Adopted for a Worker-Centric Global Order

The 15th BRICS Trade Union Forum (TUF) Summit 2026, hosted by the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) from 14–16 July 2026, concluded on a historic note with the unanimous adoption of the “Hyderabad Declaration”. Led by BMS National President Shri Sunkari Mallesham (Chairman of the BRICS TUF Summit 2026) and All India Organising Secretary Shri B. Surendran (Chief Coordinator), the three-day international summit brought together over 110 distinguished delegates, labour experts, and trade union leaders from 14 member and partner nations. The adopted declaration outlines the collective global vision and policy recommendations of the BRICS trade unions, focusing heavily on building inclusive, resilient labour markets that bridge local grassroots action with global policy advocacy. It sets up clear structural directives across four key priority task forces: * Universal Social Security: Strategizing the international portability of social benefits to safeguard cross-border and migrant workers. * Human-Centric Technology: Formulating ethical governance models for responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption to protect workers’ rights. * Skills for the Future: Driving massive workforce re-skilling through robust tripartite public-private-union partnerships. * Women and the Future of Work: Eradicating gender wage gaps and scaling up women’s workplace participation in emerging industrial sectors. It reinforces the core BMS philosophy of prioritizing social justice, human dignity, and equitable economic models to replace the failures of unilateral, free-market globalisation.
